Pukekohe Stingers Basketball Club

Pukekohe Stingers Basketball is a club based out of Franklin Pool & Leisure Centre, the Stingers enter teams into Franklin Basketball Association (FBA) run competitions. We currently cater for youth players from 5 years up to 17 years within our Stingers Club programs and hope to add additional programs in the future.

Our current age groups cater for 7 year olds through to 17 year olds.

To join the Stingers club you must either live or attend school within the Zone 3 area as defined on the map in the below link.

Each school term is a new season and requires players to be re-registered prior to the registration closing date.

Term 3 Program Details

Trainings Dates for all ages are 30th July, 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th August, 10th, 17th & 24th September

Under 10 (2015, 2016)

Training Times:

Tuesday's 4:00 - 4:45pm

(8 Week Program)

Venue: Franklin Pool & Leisure

Fees: $90 per player

Under 14 (2011 & 2012)

Training Times:

Tuesday's 5:30 - 6:15pm

(8 Week Program)

Venue: Franklin Pool & Leisure

Fees: $130 per player

Under 12 (2013 & 2014)

Training Times:

Tuesday's 4:45 - 5:30pm

(8 Week Program)

Venue: Franklin Pool & Leisure

Fees: $110 per player

Under 16 (2009 & 2010)

Training Times:

Tuesday's 6:15 - 7:00pm

(8 Week Program)

Venue: Franklin Pool & Leisure

Fees: $130 per player

Under 18 (2007 & 2008)

Training Times:

Tuesday's 6:15 - 7:00pm

(8 Week Program)

Competition Dates

Junior Club League

U10-U14 Grades

When: Fridays any time from 4:00pm - 9:30pm

starting from 2nd August to 27th September

Venue: Franklin Pool & Leisure & Pukekohe High School

Senior Club League

U16/U18 Grades

When: Wednesdays anytime from 5:00pm-8:00pm starting from 31st July to 25th September

Venue: Franklin Pool & Leisure

Note: There are no Junior Club League games on Friday 6th of September.

Player fees:

This covers team entry, uniform hireage & training costs for the term.
Fees payable at confirmation of registration and is required to finalise registration for the term.

Annual Association Affiliation (AAA) fee $25.00 :

The AAA fee affiliates of each individual player to Franklin Basketball Association on an annual basis.
Assists in the overall funding of basketball development in our region through in schools programmes, referee & coach development, club resourcing and our sustainable clubs initiative.
