Junior Club Competition (JCL) is our inter-club league which runs on a Friday night at Franklin Pool & Leisure. Our Smith & Sons JCL runs for 8 weeks each term!

This competition caters for kids aged 7 - 13 years old. While success and winning is great, the overall point of the Smith & Sons JCL and our Clubs is to create opportunities for all players and to promote participation.

• Under 12 (2013, 2014)

• Under 14 (2011, 2012)

• Girls Only (U14 & U12)

For Term 4, we are changing the format from 5x5 to 3x3 for all U12 and U14 divisions. This is due to lack of venue space, as well as allowing our tamariki to learn the alternative formats of basketball.​ 

Each Friday, every team will play a 3 game series in a 30 minute time slot. The games will be 8 minutes long. 

 

All games are supplied with referees and Glory League.

A person for scorebench is required from both teams playing each night.
